About Emerald Ridge

Emerald Ridge is a 10 acre property in the Dandenong Ranges only minutes from the township of Emerald.

We purchased the property back in August 2003 as vacant land. With a background in real estate and interior design we built our dream home a year later.

Prior to that Emerald Ridge was part of a 50 acre property which was a working poultry farm. The large chook shed was located on the site where the main house and cottage sit today.

We opened our Cottage and Guest Suite accommodation in 2016 for guests which has become very popular for short getaways, brides and grooms, families and travellers.

With a passion for the country life we have established an orchard and vegetable patch, we keep chooks to produce eggs and have pets such as two golden retrievers, horses, ponies, two guinea pigs and a cat. We welcome guests to wander the property to feed the ponies, hold the guinea pigs or collect the eggs.

Our accommodation is stylish and private with everything included to have an enjoyable stay.
