Cardinia Reservoir offers a great day out for the whole family. 

Kangeroo Viewing - Cardinia Reservoir Park is the home to several groups of wild kangaroos. They are best seen early in the morning or late afternoon. Walk along the Kangaroo Viewing Trail adjacent to the reservoir wall, starting at the Spillway Carpark. The trail heads downhill to Crystal Brook Picnic Area, with information along the trail so that you can learn more about this Australian icon.

BBQ Facilities & Playground- Crystal Brook picnic area has parking, a playground, a twin-plate electric BBQ with wheelchair access, shelter and toilets. You are also welcome to bring your own BBQ, whether it is gas, wood or charcoal. Please set BBQs up on a gravel or concrete pad if it is an open flame BBQ, and make sure to take your used charcoal home with you.
